The Rotary Zone 7B Symposium September 8th – 10th  in Auckland is for all Rotarians.  This year the Symposium incorporates both the traditional governors institute and as well as a forum offering a unique opportunity for future leaders to meet and interact with significant civil, commercial, community and Rotary leaders for an inspirational and informative forum.

As well as listening to Rotary International Secretary General John Hewko and RI President Elect Sam Owori, attendees will hear from former Governor General of New Zealand Sir Anand Satyanand, Young New Zealander of the Year 2017 Rez Gardi, and Executive Chairman of KPMG New Zealand Ross Buckley about their views on leadership in New Zealand in a changing world and the role that Rotary might play in that.

The Future Leaders Forum is supported by Leadership New Zealand and attendees should be prepared to engage in participatory and challenging conversations with these well regarded New Zealanders around the future of New Zealand and how Rotary can help lead that future.
The Future Leaders Forum takes place on Saturday morning, with participants joining those attending the Governors Institute for rest of the weekend, continuing the focus on how Rotary and Rotarians can “be the future’.  More information including speaker details can be found here.

Future leaders attending the Symposium who are interested in being home hosted by Rotarians living in the  eastern suburbs of Auckland, should contact Sue Fairbairn (Rotary Club of Somerville)
